Getting:
“You must be a local administrator to run this utility”
when a user tries to run the DM Connection Wizard to change the DM server they connect to.
For users on a Terminal/Citrix server. They need to change to the new DM server. I ran the DM Connection Wizard as Administrator and when I logged as another user, it changed it for them, but found that for some users, this did not work.
This server is running DM 5.2.1 CU5. Researched OpenText’s KB and found an article that reported this for DM Extensions but said it was fixed with 5.2.1 CU5. Not for me. So I did the following workaround:
Created a reg file and saved in the All Users\Desktop so everyone will see it. If they can’t access, they can double-click this reg file.
